September Recap

Hi friends and family that like to look at our blog!
I've got nothing fancy to say, just pictures to share!
BUT, I must say that this particular blog is dedicated the handsomest of the handsome. The bravest of the brave. The most caring of the caring. The most capable, humble and serving man I know...SAM BINKLEY!!! We celebrated 2 years of marriage on September 4th and had ourselves a vacation to Galveston, TX. And we had a blast!!! Enjoy some photos below...

In Galveston

Loving our beach time aka "do nothing!" time

Sam napping on the beach and trying to avoid the sun:)

Haha! Had to put this in here. We stayed in the "Rainforest Room" at one of our B&B's...and yes, it was decorated with things like these birds all over. Ha!

And we got to go cabin camping in Lake Whitney to celebrate Pop's birthday.

The birthday boy with his feline friend.

Shiloh loved the lake! Well, at least sitting in the tube on the lake.

And we watched hours of football (they are staring at the TV screen in this photo)

Tuckered out from camping.

25.5 weeks! Little boy is growing!

Shiloh LOVES playing in the recycling bin!

Auntie Anna came to visit us in August. Shiloh LOVED her except for when Anna had a towel on her head...she didn't like that!

Jude and Baby Boy Binkley's first play date!

Picnic by the river-how sweet is that face?!

Nannie and Papa brought Shiloh's big girl bed!

And I think she likes it:)

Enjoying some limes

Looking adorable at the zoo

Shiloh loves brushing her teeth

Enjoying some spilled cheerios...love that diaper poking out.

Shiloh with a couple of her favorite items-mommy's water bottle and keys.

Love you guys! Thanks for looking!

It's a...

Before we get to the gender reveal,  which has been revealed to most, so it's not technically a "reveal" anymore, why don't I update you guys on some Binkley happenings since Shiloh's birthday party. "Post a blog" has been on the to-do list for many weeks now, but fortunately I awakened at 5:30 a.m. this morning up and at 'em, affording me some extra time to blog. Most of the following pictures are from our roadtrip in July to Colorado. We drove JC to a conference in CO and then had a little family vacation with many thanks to the amazing Wooldridge family. They treated us like royalty, which was fitting cause we were basically in a palace in the middle of the forest. Thank you Wooldridge family!!! Now enjoy...

What's a roadtrip without at least one Cracker Barrel stop?

And roadsnacks...JC had an insatiable hunger for "real" ice cream during her  USA time

Playing flip the bacon with Auntie JC

Dropping JC off at the airport in Denver

Then my family graciously agreed to go to the Denver Biscuit Company for lunch-everything on a biscuit-just genius.

Then we drove up to Pike's Peak. I am a sucker for cheesy vacation pictures, so this photo op was right up my alley.

It was chilly.

At Agia Sophia-coffee shop recommended by our dear friend Abigail. Best chai EVER-so we went everyday.

Then the Wooldridges made french toast for Sam on his birthday-isn't that so nice?! Pictured here with Sam is the beautiful and talented Annie Wooldridge-we love her!!!

She's just so cute!

One of many times that Shiloh engaged people at our eating establishments.

Olympic Training Center on Sam's birthday-we shed many inspired tears, but that's a Binkley for you.

Learning how to drink from a sippy-took a while...I think we might have shed some tears here too:)

Making phone calls

Maybe the best part of the trip-dead tired, gross hotel, order pizza. Great combo!

When JC got back, she taught Shiloh how to walk. This is where Shiloh took her first step...

But then I guess JC knocked her over...

...cause Shiloh was not happy!

Then Laura Hertzel came to stay with us!!! Laura, I hope you don't mind this picture-but I had to post it -it captures how smitten Shiloh was with Laura during her stay.

Spanish themed baby shower for Laura and Caliden

Caliden and baby Binkley playing together for the first time!
This may look unimportant, BUT it's not! I got hooked on solitaire about 3-4 weeks ago and didn't win even ONCE until this past week and I won 5 TIMES!!! I took a picture of my first 2 wins because it was so monumental! I felt God smiling on me that day:)

Talking with her whale friend at bathtime

She climbed up in her chair all by herself!
Gender Reveal Party-we filled a pinata with BLUE candy to tell everyone we're having a BOY!!!

People wore mustaches if their guess was a boy-and flowers if they thought it was a girl.

Cute Shiloh at the party-all gender reveal photos courtesy of purposephoto.com

Trustin giving the pinata a whack

Elijah knocking the pinata's head off...

Best picture we got of the blue candy-see it flying in the air?

So...we are proud to announce again, that we are having a boy! Due January 13th. Yay!!!
